Hi lovely! So glad you found me! My name is Lauren Hale, I’m a 42-year-old wife and mom to 3 kids from Pocatello, Idaho. Welcome to my corner of the internet where I get to share insights into my life, beauty favorites, fashion finds, deals, sales, and all the good things that keep us busy ladies going!

I have been a teacher for over 12 years and have taught children with special needs as well as Kindergarteners. I realized a couple of years ago, my passions had changed and turned to sharing my makeup skills with women my age.

When I turned 40, I was so frustrated with the way my once great-looking makeup looked on my changing skin. I stumbled across a makeup brand that changed everything for my maturing skin. It didn’t sit in my fine lines and wrinkles and it didn’t feel heavy or cakey. It actually felt like skin!

While we’re getting to know each other, I figured I would share some of the items and products I am currently OBSESSING over. If these aren’t already in your cart, they should be!

There’s nothing I love more than a bright color and some straight-leg denim to pair with it! This adorable sweater vest from Amazon is a staple in my closet and comes in several different colors and patterns. Pair with denim or even size up a couple of sizes on your sweater vest to pair them with leggings! So cute for everyday fashion or even a casual date night.

As years go on, I am reminded of how crucial a skincare routine is in making your makeup look the best it can be. Not only does it create a solid foundation for your products, but helps you feel more confident when you do remove your makeup. I always emphasize a moisturizing routine and using SPF every day, even on cloudy days! I love to use my Sun Bum Face Sunscreen and the CeraVe Light Moisturizing Lotion to help me have a solid foundation before I begin my makeup routine.

I cannot tell you how much I’ve been LOVING switching up my eyeliner trends and products. I have a few favorites at a few different price points, but have really been sticking to gel eyeliner.
